For one hundred and sixty-six years, King Edward Medical University has trained physicians for Pakistan and for the world. Its forty-sixth annual international scientific conference takes as its theme the work that joins the two: advancing biomedical research, and turning it into better health for populations everywhere.
Over two days in December, faculty, students and alumni from Pakistan, North America and the United Kingdom gather on the university’s campus in Lahore for scientific sessions, pre and post conference workshops, and a symposium on universal health care.
Alongside the science, the Grand Alumni Reunion brings graduates of every generation back to the corridors and wards where their careers began. The conference is organised by the university in collaboration with KEMU-Alumni, KEMCAANA, KEMCA-UK, KEMCA-PK and APPNA.1
