Submissions are welcome across all specialties. Work that addresses the conference theme, advancing biomedical research and global health, is particularly encouraged, including:
- Original clinical, laboratory and translational research
- Public health, epidemiology and health systems research, including universal health coverage
- Medical and health professions education
- Quality improvement, clinical audit and patient safety
- Innovation and technology in healthcare

- PrepareWrite a structured abstract following the format below.
- SubmitUse the online form. The presenting author should submit.
- ReviewThe Scientific Committee reviews each submission.
- NotificationAuthors are informed of the decision and presentation format by email.

| Section | What to include |
|---|---|
| Title | Concise and specific. Avoid abbreviations. |
| Authors | Full names, departments and institutions. Mark the presenting author. |
| Background and objectives | The question the study addresses and why it matters. |
| Methods | Design, setting, participants and analysis. |
| Results | Main findings, with figures where appropriate. |
| Conclusion | What the findings mean and what should follow. |
| Keywords | Three to five. |
Word limits, presentation categories and poster specifications will be confirmed by the Scientific Committee and published on this page. Where the submission form gives different instructions, follow the form.
